Job Description
Our client is looking for a Mid-Senior Laravel Developer!

Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend functionality.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for frontend and third-party integration.
• Utilise ORMs for database interactions and model relationships.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user facing elements.
• Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Implement security best practices to protect applications from vulnerabilities.
• Write unit tests and conduct feature testing to ensure code quality and functionality.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of quality and performance.
• Mentor junior developers and provide guidance to best practices in PHP and Laravel.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in PHP and/or TypeScript, with a strong understanding of MVC, microservices, and event driven architecture.
• Experience with frontend technologies and responsive design.
• Familiar with database management systems.
• Knowledge of version control systems.
• Experience with authentication and authorisation systems.
• Understanding of task scheduling, queues, and caching mechanisms.
Advantageous:
• Experience with package development in Laravel and/or NestJS.
• Familiar with Agile and/or Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks.
