WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • HUNTERS – who have a track-record of achievement by being pro-active in their efforts to secure new business – at the same time as the ability to leverage existing clients to maximise ad-spend
  • Be experts in the industry targeted by the publications. It goes without saying that you are likely to have a personal passion for the industry in question
  • Must be revenue-driven and focused on achieving sales targets
  • Travel industry network contacts (Airline;Hospitality; Tour Operators; Car Rental companies etc)
  • Trade sector – a strong technical and industry knowledge a pre-requisite to service your designated trade industry sector network of clients
  • Candidates must have your own car, a valid drivers licence – and the ability to travel as required
  • You will currently reside in Johannesburg or Pretoria region
  • Magazine experience is preference – NOT Lifestyle or Consumer titles please
  • STRONG planning ability – this is nor a role for a door-to-door Salesperson. The ability to plan and schedule meetings in order to optimise travel time and achieve best results is their sales policy
