Mechanical /Industrial Engineer

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Specialist to support the ​Head of New business Development in evaluating, testing, and standardising equipment across our operations in multiple countries within the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented Industrial Engineering graduate with a passion for operational efficiency, process improvement, and technical problem-solving. This role bridges technical analysis with practical, operational execution, ensuring that all imported equipment meets the required standards for performance, safety, and usability across our international sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head of Development in testing and evaluating new and existing equipment for multiple countries.
• Develop and document comprehensive test specifications, procedures, and protocols.
• Conduct functional and operational tests on imported equipment to ensure compliance with quality and performance standards across sites.
• Create diagrams, schematics, and visual documentation to support testing, reporting, and standardisation.
• Compile test reports with clear analysis, observations, and recommendations for operational improvements.
• Support the standardisation of equipment and processes across different countries, ensuring consistency in operations.
• Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders across multiple regions to ensure equipment meets operational requirements.
• Identify potential operational issues and recommend practical, implementable solutions suitable for international operations.
• Keep up to date with industry best practice in equipment testing and process optimisation within the QSR sector.
   

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on operational efficiency.
• Ability to develop clear, detailed test specifications and reports.
• Proficiency in creating diagrams, flowcharts, and technical documentation.
• Strong communication skills – able to translate technical concepts to operational teams across countries.
• Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proactive mindset, with a willingness to learn and support the development team.
• Prior experience with equipment testing or operational standardisation is advantageous but not essential.
