Mechanical Foreman – Mining

Description:
Hire Resolve’s Client is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Foreman to join their mining company based in North-West. As a Mechanical Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing maintenance operations, coordinating work schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations in the mining industry.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee mechanical maintenance.
• Prioritize and direct Artisans based on emergencies.
• Respond to mechanical breakdowns.
• Manage the Engineering workshop and stores.
• Control and order required stock and materials.
• Design basic mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.
• Diagnose and repair equipment faults.
• Identify root causes of breakdowns.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• A Relevant Mechanical Trade Test Certificate.
• 3-5 years’ experience as an Artisan working in an Underground Mining environment (Platinum experience would be advantageous)
• Experience working as a Mechanical Foreman
• Valid Driver’s License
