Job Description

Our client, Consulting Engineers, specializing in mechanical & electrical services into building infrastructure are looking for a qualified and experienced individual to join their team to focus on Fire Protection Designing!

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Sc. Degree or B. Tech Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required
• 3-5yrs experience as a Mechanical Engineer focusing on Fire Design for Fire Protection or experience in a similar industry
• Interest in building services, HVAC and Fire Protection
• AutoCAD & Revit experience is essential
• Valid Drivers License with Own Car

Responsibilities:

• Design mechanical building services specifically focusing on fire design
• Produce detailed design drawings and technical specifications for various clients
• Liaise with other Design professionals (Architects/Structural or Civil Engineers)
• Liaise with Contractors, inspect work on construction sites for quality and technical compliance
• Project cost control
• Project administration
