Marketing Assistant/Coordinator
Job Description
A company that manufactures, markets, and services affordable, quality home appliances, in South Africa and internationally, are seeking a a highly organized and creative Marketing Assistant/Coordinator to join their dynamic team and support the KIC/Whirlpool brand. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional to grow into a Junior Product Manager role.
Responsibilities:

Brand & Communication: Develop and manage promotional materials and campaigns (ATL/BTL). Coordinate with creative agencies and manage social media and website updates.

Marketing & Product Management: Support product launches, conduct market research, and track competitor activity. Create marketing materials and presentations.

Events & Showroom: Coordinate and assist in organizing trade shows, promotional events, and store activations. Manage marketing and merchandising material.

Administrative Support: Handle daily administrative tasks, track invoices, manage the marketing budget, and provide overall support to the team.
Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

2-3 years of marketing or trade marketing experience, preferably in consumer durables.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Experience with digital marketing tools, including Google Analytics.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.

Proactive, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

A team player with strong creative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
-
Copywriting and project management skills are a plus.
