Job Description:This isn’t just a sales role – it’s your chance to be an agri-ambassador, combining tradition with innovation to shape the future of agricultural retail in the region. You will be driving sales and marketing the range of agricultural and retail products across Paarl, Simondium, and surrounding areas.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain value-adding relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders. 
• Conduct market research, negotiate with suppliers, and identify growth opportunities.
• Offer technical advice, tailored quotations, and after-sales support.
• Leverage digital tools to optimise reporting and decision-making.
• Manage logistics, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries.
• Drive good governance and uphold excellence in all marketing activities.

 
Requirements & Skills

• Grade 12 + relevant in-house sales training OR NQF 5 Diploma.
• Minimum 4 years’ related experience in Agri/Retail sales & marketing.
• Proven ability to work independently under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills. 
• Supplier networking experience (advantageous).
• Own transport – non-negotiable.
• A growth mindset with a knack for spotting opportunities.
• The ability to navigate complexity with sound, pragmatic judgement.
• Results-driven with achievement orientation.
• Self-aware, adaptable, and always ready to add continuous incremental value.
