Job Description


We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Management Accountant to oversee financial reporting, compliance, and cost control within manufacturing operations.
 
This role is crucial in maintaining financial integrity, ensuring accurate reporting, and providing valuable insights to support informed decision-making. Responsibilities span management accounting, stock control, compliance, and warehouse analytics.  You will ensure efficiency, transparency, and alignment with company policies and IFRS standards.
 
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (NQF 7).
  • Honours Degree with CIMA registration is advantageous.
  • Up to 5 years’ experience in accounting within the manufacturing industry is essential
 
Technical Skills
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and IFRS.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and control the financials of two business divisions.
  • Compile and analyse financial statements, forecasts, and variance reports.
  • Maintain accuracy and completeness of monthly financial records.
  • Support and attend stock counts, cycle counts, and variance investigations.
  • Conduct warehouse and inventory analytics, identifying inefficiencies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and risk frameworks.
  • Contribute to budgeting, expenditure control, and cost reduction initiatives.
