Maintenance gardener

Badger Holdings South Africa located in Springs is looking for a reliable and skilled maintenance and gardener professional to join our excellence team. 

You will be responsible for maintaining the upkeeping of our facilities and ensuring the outdoor and indoor facilities are clean and well maintained.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform basic maintenance such as cutting the grass, emptying bins, managing weed control and leaf raking.
• Plant and nurture new trees, flowers, and various plants.
• Work with hand tools and basic light machinery.
• Service all garden equipment and machinery.
• Maintain a clean garden by clearing rubbish and litter from the garden and grounds.
• Provide guidance to management on matters related to the garden.
• Ensure a safe environment for staff and clients by adhering to safety and health regulations.

Required:

• Physically fit and energetic
• Be able to work within a team
• Take responsibility for the upkeep of the gardens/parking areas around the properties 
• Basic knowledge/training on a variety of hand tools, electrical and mechanical  equipment and painting
• Good communication skills
