Maintenance Engineer – Mining

Responsibilities:

• Oversees CBM, PdM, and precision maintenance for critical equipment.
• Ensures availability of tools and skilled personnel for measurements.
• Aligns measurement campaigns with risk analysis and preventive maintenance systems.
• Sets up measurement campaigns in PMMS, CMMS, and related systems.
• Ensures accurate data collection using advanced tools and standards.
• Manages diagnostics and prognosis of equipment failures and efficiency.
• Ensures required tools and expertise for in-depth analysis.
• Uses reports to refine repair and replacement strategies.
• Supports reliability programs and the FRACAS process.
• Oversees balancing, laser alignment, and precision measurements.
• Maintains data in PMMS, CMMS, and maintenance databases.
• Leads the team in executing AWM strategy and maintaining engagement.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• 10 years’ experience in CBM, PdM, Preventive and Precision Maintenance
• Extensive knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management Strategy.
• Expertise in high-speed complex rotating equipment, including maintenance, repairs, diagnostics, and fault analysis.
• Experience in Technical Report writing.
• Valid Driver’s License
