Maintenance Assistant – Injection Moulding Company (Blackheath)

An established injection moulding company based in Blackheath is looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join the team on a temporary basis.

Requirements:

• Completed Grade 12 (Matric) is essential- Non negiatable
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Mechanical/technical background preferred
• Resides within a 5km radius of Blackheath
• Physically fit and in good health
• Manual dexterity for hands-on tasks
• Available for overtime and weekend work as required

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect unassembled components from production and report to the Supervisor
• Separate and distribute components to the Assembly department
• Assist with loading/unloading products for assemblers and quality checkers
• Help with sealing and counting finished goods for accuracy
• Ensure assemblers have necessary materials (boxes, bags, tape, etc.)
• Return empty boxes to production and assist with re-packing
• Transport assembled goods to the warehouse
• Maintain a clean and organized working environment
