Junior Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret engineering drawings to support production and maintenance activities.
• Conduct fault-finding and equipment testing to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
• Ensure adherence to health & safety regulations and safe working procedures.
• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and optimization of machinery, moulds, and downstream equipment.
• Provide technical support on raw materials, equipment, and processes to ensure seamless operations.
• Work closely with the quality team to ensure compliance with industry standards and certifications.
• Apply problem-solving techniques to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
• Maintain proper documentation and administrative records for engineering activities.
• Utilize project management skills to support engineering initiatives and process improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• 2-5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and design principles.
• Knowledge of fault-finding, troubleshooting, and equipment testing.
• Familiarity with quality systems and industry certifications.
• Proficiency in software applications related to engineering.
• Ability to install, repair, and maintain mechanical components and related equipment.
• Strong administrative and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• High level of emotional intelligence and teamwork.
• Ability to make decisive and business-aligned judgments.
• Attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Passion for sustainable packaging solutions and environmental awareness.
