Junior Draughtsman
Job Description
Hire Resolve’s Client is seeking a skilled Junior Draughtsman to join their team in Witbank. The Junior Draughtsman will assist in developing technical drawings and models for various projects while supporting project engineers and other team members. The role requires knowledge of project scheduling, steel manufacturing processes, and material procurement. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative and communication skills and the ability to contribute to the drafting and design process effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and revising technical drawings and 3D models under supervision.
- Collaborate with project teams to meet design and drafting requirements.
- Support project scheduling and planning activities.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all drafting work.
- Ensure all designs comply with project standards and specifications.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (B.Eng).
Experience:
- Familiarity with project scheduling techniques and tools.
- Basic knowledge of the steel manufacturing process.
- Understanding of material procurement practices.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Projects for scheduling and task management.
- Basic knowledge of drafting software (Autodesk or similar preferred).
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
