We are looking for a knowledgeable and proactive IT Tech Support / Desktop Technician to become a valuable part of our team. This role involves delivering exceptional technical support, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues, and ensuring seamless IT operations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide end-user support by addressing hardware, software, and network-related concerns.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
  • Identify and resolve system errors efficiently.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and updates to maintain system performance.
  • Utilize a ticketing system to log and manage technical support inquiries.
  • Document issues and escalate unresolved concerns to higher-level support when necessary.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 tasks such as adding new users, resetting passwords, and configuring user settings.
  • Keep up to date with the latest technologies and recommend process improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of Windows operating systems.
  • Knowledge of network configurations, security protocols, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience in diagnosing and repairing hardware issues.
  • Proficiency in identifying and resolving software problems.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Familiarity with Mimecast is advantageous (training will be provided if needed).
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar are a plus.
