IT Service Desk Engineer
Job Description
An exciting opportunity exists for an IT Service Desk Engineer at an international manufacturing company known for its dynamic and supportive culture. As the primary point of contact for regional IT incidents and requests, you will play a crucial role in maintaining business continuity, ensuring that hardware, software, and network issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred; minimum National Certificate/Diploma in IT or equivalent.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an IT support role.
- Strong background in hardware and software support.
- Experience with print and file servers, inventory and asset management.
- Familiarity with meeting room equipment and collaboration software.
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) is advantageous.
- Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive mindset and a commitment to continuous learning.
Technical Skills:
- OS configuration (Windows).
- Microsoft client-side software (Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Teams).
- Hardware and software installations and upgrades.
- iPhone/Android support.
Cyber endpoint protection.
