IT Ops Manager (CPT Onsite)
Job Description
ENVIRONMENT:
A dynamic, forward-thinking & highly driven IT Ops Manager is sought by a provider of innovative Data Delivery Systems to join its team. Your core role will be to oversee the capture and IT operation, ensuring the efficient and timely processing and delivery of quality data to clients. It will also involve managing team performance, understanding client requirements, designing solutions, driving process improvements and collaborating with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a suitable Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience of at least 5+ years including demonstrated leadership experience, solid Project Management, Advanced MS Excel with strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
DUTIES:
- Team Leadership & Performance Management: Lead, mentor, discipline, performance manage and motivate the IT and Operations team.
- Training & Onboarding: Recruit and train new staff as well as design and develop training materials and work instructions.
- Scheduling & Delivery: Manage the production and IT dev schedule; ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Data Quality & Reporting: Implement and monitor data quality control measures for all output.
- Problem Solving & Process Improvement: Prioritize tasks, troubleshoot problems, and implement solutions.
- Attendance Management & Escalation: Manage leave and attendance and serve as the escalation point.
- Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate effectively with staff, colleagues, and clients.
- Financial Collaboration: Assist the Finance Department with invoicing and payroll data from Operations & IT.
REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications –
- Relevant Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
Experience/Skills –
- 5+ Years of professional experience, including demonstrated leadership experience.
- Solid understanding of Project Management principles and methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong attention to detail with a real passion for IT and continuous improvement.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and quick learner on IT platforms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
