Intermediate/ Senior Quantity Surveyor – Construction Industry NEW
Job Description
On behalf of our esteemed client, a leading player in the construction industry, we are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Intermediate/ Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team in Cape Town.
Requirements:
- BTech in Quantity Surveying (NQF Level 7) or an equivalent qualification.
- JBCC/NEC formal courses
- CCS courses & certificates
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in the construction industry.
- Proficient in CCS (Candy Construction Computer Software) – must have at least 5 years of hands-on experience working with CCS.
- Buildsmart proficiency
- Drawing up BOQ for tenders and measurements from plans
- Conducting Monthly progress valuations
- Knowledge of how to prepare and submit an RFI List
- Knowledge of various construction contracts used in SA. (JBCC + NEC)
- Monthly forecast schedule for live projects
- Willingness and ability to travel to various project locations as required.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable own transport.
- Strong analytical and cost management abilities with a focus on accuracy and detail.
- Excellent planning, organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
