Industrial Engineering Intern

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Engineer Intern to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in industrial engineering and a desire to gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. The Industrial Engineer Intern will work closely with our engineering team to analyze production processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to increase efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

– Conduct time studies and process flow analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement
– Develop and implement methods for optimizing production layouts and workflow
– Assist in the design and implementation of lean manufacturing principles and practices
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline production processes and reduce waste
– Generate reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to management
– Assist in the development of standard operating procedures and work instructions
– Support continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and problem-solving

Qualifications:

– Completed a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
– Excellent communication and teamwork skills
– Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
– Previous internship or work experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
