How you’ll role
We’re looking for a skilled HVAC Draughtsman/Revit Modeller to bring engineering ideas to life through detailed technical drawings and 3D models. If you have an eye for precision, enjoy turning concepts into construction-ready plans, and thrive in the world of engineering design, this one’s for you.
What you’ll do
- Produce design drawings, shop drawings and as-built drawings for HVAC Systems on Revit and AutoCAD
- Maintain Revit and CAD templates and libraries
- Produce and maintain drawing registers, schedules and track drawing related administrative processes on projects
- Collaborate with team leaders, project managers as well as external design professionals
Required Skills
- Autocad: 3 to 4 years
- Revit: 3 to 4 years
- Draughting Design: 3 to 4 years
- HVAC Design Principles: 3 to 4 years
Candidate Requirements
What you’ll need
- Formal qualification in Draughting or Mechanical Engineering
- At least 3 years’ experience in draughting/modelling HVAC systems
- Revit and AutoCAD proficient
- Familiar with the format and requirements of Council submission drawings and SANS 10400-O codes
- HVAC design principles
- General HVAC equipment knowledge (fans, diffusion and able to size ductwork)
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Driver’s license
