HR Officer
Job Description
Reporting to the Head of HR, you will be responsible for administering a wide range of human resources functions and ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in payroll, leave management, benefits, recruitment, performance management, and employee wellness programs.
This role demands a proactive and detail-oriented professional who can handle sensitive information and multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
You will possess a Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, with an advantageous degree.
A minimum of five years of relevant experience, proficiency in SAGE 300 payroll software, and familiarity with CCMA processes are essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and strong organisational and time management abilities are key to succeeding in this position.
Critical competencies include attention to detail, problem-solving, and working independently or within a team.
You will manage payroll processing, leave tracking, employee benefits, recruitment assistance, and wellness initiatives while compiling HR reports and ensuring compliance. Additionally, they will support performance management processes, staff surveys, and workplace incident reporting, which are pivotal in fostering a productive and compliant HR environment.
