Hire Resolve is currently seeking a dynamic HR Executive for our client, a key player in the global courier and logistics industry. Responsibilities

Process and Governance

  • Design, document, implement, and continuously improve Human Resources processes, relevant policies, and guidelines.

  • Define and execute business strategies.

  • Align, implement, and manage the BBBEE scorecard.

  • Optimize business practices by compiling, analyzing, and presenting performance metrics and benchmarking against industry standards.

  • Ensure continuous improvement practices align with business strategy, the operating model, and compliance requirements.

  • Lead communication and adoption of business practice and technical competencies.

  • Serve as a strategic HR Business Partner.

  • Ensure full statutory legislative compliance with BCEA, EEA, LRA, OSHA, NBCRFLI.

Finance

  • Develop, manage, and report on the Human Resources budget.

  • Identify and implement cost-reduction initiatives.

  • Oversee payroll, compensation, health, and welfare benefit administration.

  • Ensure recruitment practices are compliant with policies and approved budgets.

  • Manage the temporary Employment Services budget.

People

  • Develop and implement HR strategies related to talent acquisition, selection, retention, and succession planning.

  • Oversee performance management through internal systems and frameworks.

  • Manage employee relations and ensure legal compliance.

  • Lead skills development planning and statutory reporting.

  • Provide professional operational HR support and advice to management and staff.

  • Champion organizational change and manage change initiatives.

  • Ensure effective communication and project management for staff engagement and HR initiatives

Requirements

  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree (minimum requirement)

  • Experience: 5–8 years at a senior management level in HR

  • Intermediate MS Excel and Word proficiency

  • Advanced PowerPoint presentation skills

  • Strong business writing skills in English

  • Proven project management and deadline delivery capabilities

  • Excellent executive-level verbal communication

  • Team-oriented and collaborative work style

  • Ability to work extended hours as needed

  • 3–5 years’ experience in a unionized environment required

  • Must be a South African citizen with a clear criminal record

  • Advantageous: Working knowledge of the logistics or courier industry
