Head of Procurement

Requirements: 

• A bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management or related field
• An Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g. CPP, CSCP, CPSM) is a plus
• A Minimum of five years’ experience in procurement field
• In-depth knowledge of contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation
• Ability to influence and drive change at all levels within the organisation
• Proficient in utilising Microsoft Office products, including advanced knowledge of Excel

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives
• Lead the development of category strategies, vendor management and vendor risk framework
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation and process optimization through strategic procurement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with regulators and procurement policies and procedures
• Mitigate procurement risks by implementing robust controls, governance frameworks, and risk assessment methodologies
• Provide leadership, coaching and guidance to the procurement team
