Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management or related field
- An Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g. CPP, CSCP, CPSM) is a plus
- A Minimum of five years’ experience in procurement field
- In-depth knowledge of contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation
- Ability to influence and drive change at all levels within the organisation
- Proficient in utilising Microsoft Office products, including advanced knowledge of Excel
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives
- Lead the development of category strategies, vendor management and vendor risk framework
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation and process optimization through strategic procurement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with regulators and procurement policies and procedures
- Mitigate procurement risks by implementing robust controls, governance frameworks, and risk assessment methodologies
- Provide leadership, coaching and guidance to the procurement team
