About the role
The group travel account manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with school, university, and corporate partners, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
Key aspects of the role include:
- Support and coordination
- Communication and administration
- Attention to detail and relationship management
Responsibilities
- Client satisfaction and retention: Serve as the main point of contact post-sale, addressing concerns promptly and fostering positive relationships.
- Relationship management: Build rapport to promote loyalty and ensure partners view World of Difference as a trusted collaborator.
- Effective communication: Act as a liaison between partner accounts and internal teams (sales, support, and operations) to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and deliverables.
- Problem-solving: Proactively identify and address potential challenges to maintain client satisfaction.
- Revenue growth: Collaborate with the director of business development to offer tailored solutions that align with partners’ needs and goals.
- Business development: Support the outbound process by securing meetings for new business opportunities.
About you
This role is part of the group’s business development team, which values open communication, flexibility, accountability, commitment, and creativity.

Professional skills and experience
- Five or more years’ experience in relationship or account management
- Experience working with North America and EMEA markets
- CRM experience, preferably Salesforce
Advantageous
- Experience in the educational travel industry
- International travel experience
- Experience as a travel consultant
