Front End React Typescript Developer

We’re seeking an exceptionally independent Front-end developer with typescript and react experience to join our small team as the primary front-end specialist. This role requires someone who can work autonomously, make sound technical decisions independently, and drive projects forward with minimal oversight.

You will independently lead front-end development efforts, making autonomous technical decisions and establishing best practices.

Required skills and experience:

• 5 plus years of professional front-end development experience with substantial applications
• Expert knowledge of typescript and react ecosystems
• Strong understanding of Restful APIs and modern front-end build tools
• Advanced proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3
• Solid experience with git and github for version control
• Proven ability to optimise performance in data-heavy applications
• Demonstrated history of independent problem-solving and technical leadership
• Frontend: typescript, react
• Backend integration: Rest APIs, python services
• Infrastructure: Cloud deployment (AWS/Azure)
• Version control: Git/Github
• Development practices: Unit testing, code reviews, CI/CD

• Proven track record of working independently and driving projects to completion
• Experience implementing solutions for data-intensive applications
• Excellent judgment in making technical decisions

Reference number for this position is GZ60103 which is a permanent fully remote position offering a cost to company salary of between R720 000.00 to R840 000.00 per annum negotiable on experience and ability.
