Freelance Remote SAIPA Accountant

📍 Location: Remote (work from anywhere)
⏰ Working Hours: Full-time – 40 hours per week
💰 Rate: R180 – R220 per hour (approx. R28 000 – R35 000/month)

About the Role:

We are seeking a self-motivated, disciplined, and detail-oriented Accountant to provide consulting services to multiple clients. You must be comfortable working independently under pressure and committed to delivering excellent service and high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consulting with clients on accounting and tax matters

  • Drafting Annual Financial Statements (using Draftworx)

  • Handling comprehensive accounting and tax tasks

  • Solving administrative and reporting issues

  • Engaging with SARS and regulatory bodies

  • Managing accounting functions for approx. 50 SMEs

  • Ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and quality in all outputs

Minimum Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting

  • SAIPA membership

  • 5–10 years’ experience in tax and accounting

  • 3–5 years’ experience working from home

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)

  • Proficiency in Draftworx

  • Self-discipline and ability to work independently

  • Professional communication with senior management and clients

Ons klient is ’n dinamiese rekeningkundige firma wat strewe daarna om doeltreffende oplossings te bied vir kliënte se besigheidsmodelle en finansiële prosesse. Deur afgeleë werk moontlik te maak, bied hulle buigsaamheid terwyl hoë diensstandaarde gehandhaaf word.

Oor die Rol:

Ons is op soek na ‘n selfgemotiveerde, gedissiplineerde en detailgeoriënteerde Rekenmeester wat kliënte op konsultasiegrondslag kan bedien. Jy sal verantwoordelik wees vir verskeie kliënte en moet gemaklik wees om onafhanklik en onder druk te werk, met uitstekende kommunikasie- en diensleweringsvermoë.

Verantwoordelikhede:

  • Kliëntkonsultasie en advies

  • Opstel van Finansiële State (Draftworx)

  • Volledige belasting- en rekeningkundige dienste

  • Oplossings vir rekeningkundige en administratiewe uitdagings

  • Interaksie met SARS en ander staatsliggame

  • Hantering van hoë volumes werk vir ±50 KMO’s

  • Verskaffing van hoëgehalte, akkurate en tydige verslaggewing

Minimum Vereistes:

  • ’n Graad in Rekeningkunde

  • SAIPA-lidmaatskap

  • 5–10 jaar relevante belasting- en rekeningkundige ervaring

  • 3–5 jaar ervaring met tuiswerk (afstandswerk)

  • Uitstekende Engels (geskrewe en gesproke)

  • Ervaring met Draftworx

  • Sterk selfdissipline en onafhanklikheid

  • Professionele kommunikasie met senior bestuur en kliënte
