Food Technologist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Food Technologist to join our clients team in the Spice Industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food science and technology, with a passion for creating innovative and safe food products. The Food Technologist will be responsible for developing new food products, improving existing products, and ensuring that all products meet regulatory and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing new food products from concept to commercialization
- Conducting research and experiments to improve existing products
- Ensuring that all products meet regulatory requirements and quality standards
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and marketing
- Conducting sensory evaluations and consumer taste tests
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and developments
- Providing technical support to internal and external stakeholders
- Managing documentation and records related to product development
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in food product development
- Strong knowledge of food science principles and food processing techniques
- Experience working with ingredients, formulations, and food manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards for food products
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
