Fire Consultant/Designer – Midrand

Hire Resolve’s client, a leading engineering consulting firm specializing in fire protection and safety solutions, is currently seeking a skilled Fire Consultant/Designer to join their team in Midrand.

Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive fire protection designs and strategies for various building projects.
• Conduct fire risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate identified risks.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and standards.
• Prepare detailed drawings and specifications using design software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of fire protection systems to ensure adherence to design specifications.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends and advancements in fire safety technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in fire protection design and consultancy.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong knowledge of local and international fire safety codes and standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
