We are working with a dynamic and forward thinking firm in the professional services sector, assisting them in finding a highly skilled Financial Manager. The ideal candidate will join a growing financial management and advisory team supporting a diverse portfolio of clients.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing monthly accounting and financial reporting for various clients.
- Preparing and reviewing management accounts, VAT returns, payroll, tax calculations and financial statements.
- Providing strategic financial insights during monthly client meetings.
- Acting as a financial manager, offering cash flow support, forecasting and financial decision making tools.
- Supporting project work like system implementations, restructures and audit prep.
- Identifying process improvements and ensuring adherence to compliance and reporting standards.
Experience required:
- BCom in Accounting or Finance.
- 3-5 years post-qualification experience, ideally from a client-facing or accounting firm background.
- Strong understanding of IFRS for SMEs, tax legislation and cloud accounting tools (Xero, QuickBooks, etc.).
- Comfortable managing multiple clients and deadlines with a hands-on, solutions-driven mindset.
- Excellent communicator and a team player with a heart for service and leadership.
