Financial Accountant Full Time NEW
Job Description
We are currently seeking a Financial Accountant to join our reputable client’s team.
Requirements:
• BCom Accounting degree or suitable equivalent (compulsory)
• At least 5 years’ post-article experience (SAICA or SAIPA)
• Experience in a small to medium-sized accounting firm
• Strong working knowledge of accounting and tax legislation and its application
• Confident liaising with clients on financial and tax-related matters
• Ability to engage in tax planning to support efficient structuring and compliance
• Familiarity with preparing and submitting annual tax returns and VAT returns
• Preparation of annual financial statements (from source documents or trial balances)
• Preparation of management accounts for a portfolio of clients
• Preparation of accounting records from client-provided documentation
• Completion and submission of company and trust income tax returns and VAT returns
• Engage with clients professionally on deliverables and planning matters
• Monitor budgets and timelines for each engagement
