Finance Manager (Multinational Operations)
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Manager to oversee and manage the financial operations of our US and European entities. This role requires expertise in financial reporting, compliance, and analysis within a multinational framework, with a strong understanding of US GAAP and tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Oversee monthly closing processes and reconciliations for US and European entities.
- Prepare and review monthly financial packs for non-South African companies.
- Analyze actual versus budget performance and provide actionable insights.
- Conduct impairment assessments for EMIs, goodwill, and investments at fair value as required.

Taxation & Compliance
- Prepare US tax return schedules and ensure alignment with filed returns.
- Draft and review US GAAP accounting memos.

Payments & Banking
- Authorize payments using the online banking portal.
- Prepare and manage monthly payment schedules for US and European entities.

Exchange Rates & Consolidation
- Circulate weekly exchange rates for group entities.
- Review and prepare group monthly consolidations.

Financial Statements & External Reporting
- Tie in annual and quarterly financial statements with press releases.
- Support the preparation and review of financial disclosures.

Administrative Duties
- Record minutes of financial and operational meetings.
- Assist with other ad hoc duties expected of a Financial Manager.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CA/CPA qualification preferred).
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in financial management, preferably within a multinational organization.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and international tax regulations.
- Proficiency in financial consolidation processes and accounting software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
