Job Summary:
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join their team at a Prestigious School in Cape Town. The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage the school’s annual budget
• Monitor and report on income, expenditure, and cash flow
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies
• Oversee payroll, supplier payments, and school fees collection
• Manage financial audits and liaise with auditors
• Maintain accurate financial records and reporting systems
• Advise school leadership on financial planning and sustainability
• Supervise finance/admin staff (if applicable)

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience in a similar finance role
• Experience managing 2–3 staff members
• Knowledge of payroll, VAT, PAYE, and related functions
• Experience with cash flow, reporting, and budgeting
• Accounting diploma or degree (CA(SA) or articles not required)
• Familiarity with EdAdmin (preferred), Sage, and general banking software
• Strong candidates from either school or corporate backgrounds considered
• Female candidates preferred, but strong male candidates also welcomed
• Ideally in early 40s, but open to all ages
• Must be able to work onsite in Parklands, Cape Town
• Available to start ASAP
