• Previous experience in the fruit/agriculture industry
• Financial/Accounting Degree (MBA preferred)
• More than 6 years of experience in financial management
• Agricultural / fruit industry experience
• Strong financial modelling and forecasting skills; proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools.
• Experience preparing documents for funding applications

 
Duties and Responsibilities:
Financial Oversight & Reporting

• Lead the development and management of annual budgets and cash flow forecasts for both internal operations and client-managed farms.
• Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses.
• Track financial metrics and key performance indicators, offering insights and recommendations to executive leadership.

 
Regulatory Compliance & Risk Mitigation

• Ensure all financial practices comply with relevant tax laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Manage relationships with auditors and tax consultants.
• Identify financial risks and implement measures to address cost fluctuations and market exposure.

 
Strategic Support & Business Development

• Partner with the executive team to design and implement business plans for both internal growth and external client ventures.
• Perform financial and market research to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.
• Assess capital investment proposals and expenditure projects.

 
Financial Modelling & Capital Access

• Create and manage detailed financial models, including forecasts, ROI analyses, and scenario testing, to support funding applications.
• Prepare financial documentation for grant applications, lender packages, and investor materials.
• Serve as a point of contact for banks, funders, and investors, assisting with due diligence and application processes.

 
Client-Focused Financial Services

• Offer financial advisory services to client farms, including budgeting, cost tracking, and profitability reviews.
• Help clients develop personalized financial strategies and funding roadmaps.
• Support succession planning, operational transitions, and farm expansion modeling.
