Field Sales Representative

Our client is looking for 2 driven and self-motivated Field Sales Representatives in KZN to promote and sell a range of waterproofing products.

πŸ“ Location: KZN
✈️ Travel and sales activities within the region – build and manage your own client base.

For the first few months, the role will be 100% office-based. Once the candidate has established a client base, they will have the opportunity to work from home and visit clients as needed.

πŸ’° Salary: R15 000 + uncapped commission structure based on performance
βž• Additional: 3% commission on sales to existing clients

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular field visits, product presentations, and technical support sessions.

  • Identify, engage, and build relationships with retail stores, contractors, and applicators in the region.

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets in line with company performance goals.

  • Provide feedback on market trends, competitor activity, and client needs.

  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, orders, and sales performance.

  • Represent the brand with professionalism and strong product knowledge.

  • Penetrate the KZN market with a high level of cold-calling skills.

  • Competent in using basic digital tools (email, CRM systems, smartphone-based sales applications).

Position Requirements

  • Minimum of 2–5 years proven sales experience in the building industry or related construction supply environment.

  • Strong knowledge of waterproofing or construction products is an advantage.

  • Proven track record in similar sales roles.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

The successful candidates will be based in KZN and actively serve the region.

  • Verskaf terugvoer oor markneigings, kompetisie-aktiwiteit en kliΓ«ntbehoeftes.

  • Hou akkurate rekords van kliΓ«ntinteraksies, bestellings en verkoopsprestasie.

  • Verteenwoordig die handelsmerk met professionaliteit en produkkennis.

  • Deurdring die KZN-mark met ’n hoΓ« vlak van koue belvaardighede.

  • Bevoeg met basiese digitale gereedskap (e-pos, CRM-stelsels, slimfoon-gebaseerde verkoopsprogramme).

Posvereistes:

  • Minstens 2–5 jaar se bewese verkope-ervaring in die boubedryf of verwante konstruksievoorsieningsomgewing.

  • Sterk kennis van waterdigtings- of konstruksieprodukte is ’n voordeel.

  • Bewese rekord in soortgelyke verkoopsrolle.

  • VermoΓ« om onafhanklik en as deel van ’n span te werk.

  • Sterk kommunikasie- en onderhandelingsvaardighede.
