Factory Engineer

Are you an experienced Factory Engineer seeking a role where you can lead technical operations and drive efficiency in a manufacturing environment? This position offers a comprehensive benefits package, including company-provided housing, and the opportunity to work in Hermannsburg, KwaZulu-Natal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and optimize factory machinery, equipment, and systems for peak performance.
  • Lead and manage technical teams to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules and operational procedures.
  • Analyze factory performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and operational policies.
  • Collaborate with production teams to achieve operational goals and resolve technical challenges.
  • Oversee budgets related to maintenance and engineering projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a factory or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills with hands-on maintenance experience.
  • Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards in factory operations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in engineering software and tools.
