Job summary
We are seeking dynamic and results-driven sales consultants to join our client’s team at an accredited training academy. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and promoting the academy’s range of accredited training programmes.
As the first point of contact for clients, you will provide tailored solutions to meet their training needs while achieving and exceeding sales targets. This role requires excellent communication, consultative selling skills, and a passion for education and professional development.

Key responsibilities
Sales and business development
- Identify, engage, and convert new clients to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and trends.
Client relationship management
- Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain ongoing communication to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Provide clients with comprehensive information about the academy’s accredited courses.
Consultative selling
- Understand clients’ needs and recommend suitable training programmes to address their goals.
- Customise proposals and solutions tailored to specific client requirements.
Marketing and outreach
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement effective promotional strategies.
- Attend industry events, expos, and seminars to represent the academy and network with potential clients.
Administration and reporting
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and client feedback.
- Manage CRM systems and maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities.
Key requirements
Qualifications
- Matric certificate is essential.
- A tertiary qualification in sales, marketing, business, or a related field is advantageous.
Experience
- Minimum three years of proven sales experience, preferably in the education or training sector.
- Experience in consultative selling and client relationship management.
Skills
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and CRM software.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.
