Electronic Technologist

Main Purpose of the Job

To design electronic circuits and review electronic designs. To develop documentation for electronic designs. Assist the product specialists, technical trainers, integration specialists and production.

Education, experience and competencies

• National Diploma/Btech in Electronics Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years Technical experience.
• Knowledge of ISO9001, FMEA Documentation;, document editing and risk assessments will be beneficial.
• Visio Experience will be beneficial

Responsibilities

• Review report, drawing and other supporting documentation from Electronic Technicians.
• Develop technical scope of work documents.
• Update scope of work documents as development project progresses.
• Carry out verification testing inline with scope of work in the development process.
• Develop technical documentation according to design control form.
• Design and introduce first builds to production.
• Verify technical validity of existing product and service-related documents.
• Create/Draw wiring diagrams
• Analyse and implement improvements on current product and service-related processes.
• Update control documents annually.
