DTP Designer – Signage Industry

Our client, a leading player in the signage and print industry, is currently seeking an experienced DTP Designer to join their creative and production team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-driven designer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys seeing concepts come to life.

About the role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality layouts, 3D renderings, and digital files for print and signage applications. This is a hands-on role, spanning concept development through to final production, and involves close collaboration with internal teams to meet client expectations and production standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and develop accurate, visually compelling artwork and signage layouts
• Produce lifelike renderings and 3D visuals to communicate design intent
• Liaise with production teams to ensure seamless file preparation and print execution
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining design quality
• Contribute to continuous process improvement within the DTP department

Candidate requirements:

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign essential) and CAD tools (e.g. SketchUp)
• Strong graphic design skills and understanding of print processes
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
• Team leadership or supervisory experience is advantageous
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Design or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a DTP or print production environment

Desirable:

• Exposure to digital publishing or basic HTML/CSS
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
