This client is a fast-growing Fintech company in SA looking to provide seamless processes and positive “soft-landings” in the insurance space. They are human-centric and very passionate about what they do!
They seek a dynamic technophile (their words!) for large-scale digital transformation. They are based along the Garden Route and are back in office full-time. They love being with their teams and working collaboratively.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee digital strategy aligned with organizational values.
- Foster innovation, staying abreast of emerging tech trends.
- Lead transition to a digitally-enabled culture.
- Create roadmaps for innovation, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Direct team in delivering and implementing digital solutions.
- Prioritize customer-centric problem-solving.
- Manage and motivate the team, ensuring high performance.
- Oversee digital implementation plans, ensuring timely delivery.
- Collaborate with Procurement Team to negotiate deals with vendors.
- Promote adoption of new digital tools and technologies.
- Design and deliver training materials for new systems.
Requirements:
- 5+ years in digital transformation or similar role.
- Recognized degree in Business, IT, or Computer Science.
- Leadership skills, project management experience (Agile methodologies), and strong soft skills.
- Extensive technological knowledge.
- Strong relationships with key software vendors or suppliers advantageous.
