This role calls for a well-rounded digital expert with a strong grasp of social media, email, paid campaigns, SEO, web management, and more. You’ll play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and optimising a range of digital campaigns, with a focus on elevating brand awareness and driving fundraising efforts. Proficiency in Google Ads, Display/YouTube campaigns, Meta, Twitter, TikTok, and other ad platforms is essential for this role.
In this position, you’ll bring an analytical mindset, a meticulous eye for detail, and a deep understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem. Your insights will drive online strategies that raise funds and broaden outreach, helping the organisation achieve its mission. From managing the website and social media to crafting digital mailers and SMS campaigns, your contributions will play a key role in tracking conversions and increasing engagement.

Responsibilities
Digital Strategy Development & Execution
- Conduct an analysis of the brand
- Create and implement a digital marketing strategy that will boost brand awareness across all digital platforms.
- Set clear, measurable objectives for online campaigns to grow engagement, donations, and awareness.
- Identify target audiences and develop tailored campaigns to reach segmented donors effectively
- Identifying and recommend the most effective digital channels for various campaigns
- Stay up-to-date and conduct research into the latest digital marketing trends and best practices would boost brand awareness and translate to ROI- assist the team in reaching brand and fundraising goals by implementing new technology.
Content Creation & Management
- In collaboration with the Copywriter, conceptualise and create multimedia content for all digital platforms(articles, videos, graphics) for digital platforms, ensuring it aligns with the brand’s voice, vision and mission.
- Manage social media channels, including content planning, posting, engagement, and monitoring.
- Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely and professional manner, and manage customer engagement
- Create and optimise email marketing campaigns, with attention to segmentation, messaging, and design.
Website Management & SEO
- Oversee website updates and improvements, ensuring accurate and updated information and a seamless user experience.
- Implement SEO best practices to drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance website functionality and user experience.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) across digital platforms, including engagement rates, click-through rates, conversion metrics, and donor acquisition costs.
- Use data to measure campaign ROI and adjust/develop strategies accordingly.
- Generate reports that will demonstrate campaign impact and opportunities for growth and/or improvement.
Paid Digital Advertising
- Plan and manage paid digital ads to drive specific goals like brand building or fundraising
- Regularly assess paid campaigns’ ROI to ensure they align with budget and impact expectations
- Maintain and track advertising budgets – including and processing incoming advertising invoices and compiling advertising reports
Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:
- Digital diploma OR similar qualification
- 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on pro bono and paid marketing campaigns and ad platforms.
- Experience of working in a sale, non-profit or fundraising environment will be an added advantage.
- Excellent knowledge of Google ads, Display/ YouTube campaigns, Meta, Twitter, TikTok, SEO, website and other ad platforms.
- Experience with WordPress is an added advantage
- Experience in multimedia (videography and photography) content creation for digital platforms
- Brand, content marketing and campaign management experience is a must
- Excellent time management and project management skills with ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects, work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Have a proven track record of troubleshooting and problem solve independently
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent collaboration skills – can work well with navigating various stakeholders and teams.
