Digital Key Accounts Manager – Sales

Remuneration: R30000 – R70000 per month cost-to-company

Who are we looking for:

A results-driven digital key account manager with a passion for digital sales and customer success. The ideal candidate is experienced in managing large and mid-tier accounts, skilled at building meaningful relationships, and has a proven track record of achieving sales targets while delivering exceptional client experiences.

What will you do:

Revenue growth:

  • Identify and acquire new key clients, including agencies, brands, and advertisers.
  • Build and develop relationships with decision-makers and influencers within potential and existing clients.
  • Craft and pitch customised advertising packages and service offerings to meet client needs and maximise ROI.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance and develop product and service offerings.
  • Proactively create client proposals that align with the company’s value proposition and drive revenue growth.

Account management:

  • Develop strategic account plans, including goals and deliverables for each client or brand.
  • Nurture long-term relationships with clients to ensure engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of client needs and adapt strategies to meet their evolving preferences.

Campaign optimisation, reporting, and administration:

  • Partner with the AdOps team to monitor, optimize, and ensure campaign performance meets expectations.
  • Provide regular performance feedback to clients and identify opportunities for campaign improvement.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients to update them on campaign progress, changes, and creative updates.
  • Manage billing processes to ensure accuracy and timely invoicing.

Collaboration and teamwork:

  • Liaise with internal teams, including Content, Video, Tech, Finance, and Product, to achieve client and revenue outcomes.
  • Mentor and support other sales team members, sharing expertise on digital product offerings.

What do you need:

  • Proven experience in digital sales, particularly in advertising.
  • Familiarity with media agencies and direct client relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of digital advertising and campaign optimisation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to interpret and report on data sets.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A collaborative approach to working across teams.
  • Organised, efficient, and detail-oriented.
