We have a wonderful hybrid opportunity for a creative Mid-Weight Digital Marketing Specialist to work at a UK Educational NPO, based in Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities
 
    • Content Strategy & Creation: Develop and execute a content strategy that aligns with the brand voice, target audience, and business goals. Create high-quality content across formats, including blog posts, emails, social media, video, and graphics. Create KPIs for the Communications and Marketing team to grow the brand and engagement numbers.
    • Social Media Management: Own and grow our presence across social channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.), with an emphasis on engagement, audience growth, and brand consistency.
    • SEO & SEM: Optimise website content and digital campaigns to improve search engine rankings and manage PPC/SEM efforts to drive relevant traffic and conversions.
    • Campaign Management: Work with the Communication Coordinator to plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms, including email marketing, social media, and partnerships. Track, analyse, and report on campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments.
    • Brand Voice & Consistency: Maintain a cohesive brand voice and visual identity across all digital content. Ensure brand messaging is consistent in style, quality, and tone.
    • Performance Tracking: Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights) to monitor performance, derive insights, and adjust strategies for continuous improvement.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (design, product, sales) to align on key initiatives and ensure messaging reflects company goals and values.
    • Internal Communications: Work closely with our People & Culture Manager to drive and deliver the internal communications strategy.
    • Own our communication streams to ensure a consistent voice, this includes internal and external communication, digital voice and thought leadership for the CEO and Partnerships team to support conferences and events.
    • Providing regular media and new roundups for internal and external audiences.
 
 
Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:
 
    • Qualifications: Industry relevant qualification
    • Experience: 5+ years in digital content creation, social media management, and digital marketing, preferably in a similar industry.
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SEO and SEM principles, content management systems (CMS), Google Analytics, and marketing automation tools. Basic graphic design or video editing skills are a plus.
    • Creative & Strategic Mindset: Ability to generate original ideas and turn them into compelling digital content, with a strategic eye for brand-building and audience engagement.
    • Analytical Skills: Strong understanding of KPIs and ability to analyse campaign data, derive insights, and make data-informed adjustments.
    • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a passion for storytelling and creativity.
    • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud would be a huge advantage.
