Our client, an international chemical manufacturing company requires an experienced Customer Equipment Engineer to join their Sales Division. This role will provide technical expertise and field equipment support to ensure safe, reliable and efficient solutions for feeding products into customer applications.
The successful candidate must have a relevant National Diploma / Degree (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Metallurgy, Chemical / Mechanical Engineering) with 2–3 years’ experience in equipment engineering or maintenance, particularly pumps and control monitors used in chemical feed systems.
Knowledge of materials compatibility, HAZOP studies and asset management is essential.Â
Responsibilities include:
- Providing technical resources as a subject matter expert
- Standardizing equipment and aligning to global standards
- Building customer relationships and driving project performance
- Managing asset planning, HCAS safety governance, and reporting processes
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and project management
- Training and development of equipment planning and reporting processes
Applicants must be willing to travel extensively, be physically fit and able to work independently on challenging plant sites. A valid driver’s license and computer literacy are essential.
