About the Role:As Controller Spare Parts, you’ll report to the Manager: Workshop and Spares, playing a key role in managing spare parts sales, stock control, and store documentation. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid spare parts experience who thrives in a dynamic, retail-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and drive sales of spare parts
- Handle stock ordering, direct orders, and daily movement tracking
- Conduct and oversee accurate, timely stock takes
- Maintain effective stock levels and manage slow-moving inventory
- Provide technical product support and inform clients on product applications
- Maintain store hygiene, housekeeping, and safety standards
- Execute all documentation and reporting tasks with accuracy and timeliness
- Support ad hoc operational and administrative tasks as needed
Minimum Requirements & Skills
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in spare parts sales and stock control
- Strong judgment and decision-making skills
- High attention to detail and organizational ability
- Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Results-oriented with a hands-on, problem-solving attitude
- Can navigate complexity and demonstrate sound, pragmatic judgment
- Is achievement-driven and consistently seeks to add value
- Has strong self-awareness and a continuous improvement mindset
