          Our client who are providers in the Global technology sector are actively seeking a  Legal, Governance, Risk and Compliance Manager for the Group. 

          Key Responsibilities

          Legal, Governance, Risk & Compliance

          • Help prepare, review, and manage legal documents like contracts and official company filings, under the guidance of the Senior Legal Counsel.
          • Assist in planning and applying strategies to reduce business risks across legal, financial, operational, and regulatory areas.
          • Support secretarial tasks such as filing official documents, preparing board meeting materials (like agendas and minutes), and managing schedules and reports.
          • Do legal research, keep track of law and regulation changes, and report important updates to the Senior Legal Counsel.
          • Keep accurate and secure records of all legal and compliance documents.
          • Help create and maintain policies and procedures to ensure the company follows all legal and compliance rules.
          • Spot legal or compliance risks related to the tech industry and suggest ways to manage them.
          • Keep a record of all business risks, their impact, and actions taken. Provide quarterly updates to the company’s Audit and Risk Committee.
          • Support compliance activities such as checking for regulatory gaps and helping with internal audits and reports.
          • Maintain a checklist and calendar of all compliance deadlines for the company.
          • Make sure all compliance work matches up with current laws, industry standards, and regulations.
          • Communicate with government bodies, service providers, and teams within the company on legal and compliance matters.
          • Review how well current processes are working, report findings, and recommend improvements.
          • Help organize and deliver staff training sessions on compliance and company policies.
          • Work with teams involved in information security projects (like ISO/IEC 27001 and MTCS SS:584) to meet required standards.
          • Provide help and advice to different teams on legal and compliance questions.
          • Support the Board of Directors with research and implementing company goals when needed.

          Required Experience and Qualifications

           

          • A diploma, degree, or similar qualification in Law, Risk, or Compliance.
          • A recognized certification in compliance or risk management.
          • 3 to 5 years of experience working in a legal, compliance, or risk-related role.
          • Good understanding of legal, compliance, and risk processes.
          • Must be comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

          Key Skills and Personal Qualities

           

          • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
          • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
          • Experience with writing and reviewing different types of business contracts.
          • Knowledge of risk management and internal audit practices.
          • Able to understand complex legal issues and explain them clearly to non-lawyers.
          • Able to make sound legal decisions that protect the company’s interests.
          • Strong knowledge of legal, compliance, and risk-related rules and regulations.
          • Great attention to detail.
          • Able to handle multiple tasks and manage time well.
          • Can work under pressure and meet deadlines.
          • Highly accurate and efficient in completing tasks.
          • Well-organized with strong administrative skills.
          • Able to think critically and make strategic decisions.
