Our client is seeking a dynamic and driven attorney specialising in corporate and commercial law to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in contract drafting and mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
Key requirements:
- LLB degree (essential).
- Bachelor of commerce/finance degree (advantageous).
- Master of laws in corporate and commercial law (advantageous).
- Four or more years of post-qualification experience with a strong focus on non-contentious corporate and commercial law matters.
- Exceptional contract drafting skills.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate and commercial transactions, including:
- Mergers and acquisitions (M&A)
- Corporate finance
- Private equity
- Deal structuring
- Transactional tax
- Fluency in English (written and verbal). Proficiency in Afrikaans is advantageous.
- Proficient in computer applications, including MS Word and Excel.
