Claims Negotiator

As a liability claims negotiator, you will play a key role in ensuring the fair and efficient settlement of liability claims, while maintaining professionalism and integrity throughout the process.

Key responsibilities:

• Negotiate third-party liability payments according to legal principles using all necessary and approved methods.
• Conduct relevant telephone communications for liability claims.
• Regularly follow up on liability claims to ensure timely resolutions.
• Analyse and review Tracers reports to assess claim status.
• Provide regular and timely updates to management.
• Work with third parties and insurance companies to negotiate claims, subject to management approval.
• Escalate unresolved claims to management or nominated persons for further determination.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all follow-ups are documented in the system.
• Liaise with clients and third parties to facilitate claim resolutions.
