Chief Financial Officer
Job Description
A highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer is sought for a leading Bespoke Textile and Soft Furnishings Manufacturing company to drive financial performance, statutory compliance, and risk management while optimising profitability.
Essential Requirements:
- CA (SA) qualification
- 10–15 years of hands-on financial management experience in manufacturing overseeing day-to-day finance operations for a company with a headcount of approximately 500 staff.
- A strong background in strategic financial leadership, cost controls, integrated reporting, risk management, and governance is essential.
- Experience as a Head of Finance and expertise in international trading and exchange rate management is advantageous.

- Exposure to financial operations across African and international markets is desirable.
- A deep understanding of international supplier payments and overseas customer collections.
- The role demands exceptional business acumen, financial and ERP system proficiency, and advanced MS Office and financial software skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are required to navigate high-pressure environments and drive sustainable business growth.
Key duties include IFRS compliance and group monthly reporting processes while supporting executive management with financial reviews, audits, and board submissions. Managing imports, foreign exchange transactions, acquisitions, and disposals is integral to the role, as is serving as a key advisor on legal financial agreements.
