Cash Control Clerk – Head Office, Cape Town
Job Description
We need a self-motivated individual to fill the following vacancy that exists at our Head Office in Cape Town.
Skills/Attributes Required:
- Matric or preferably an accounting diploma
- Advanced Excel and proficiency in MS office
- Excellent numeric and analytical skills
- Accurate with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly organized
- Team player with the ability to get along with others
- The position will require a self-motivated individual, with high levels of commitment and a good work ethic
- Ability to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment
- 2 years relevant experience is essential
Role and Responsibilities:
- Daily reconciling of Credit Card sales to bank statement
- Capturing daily credit card sales on excel spreadsheets
- Investigating credit card discrepancies with relevant banking institutions
- Liaising with stores for daily variances
- Formatting daily statements received from banking institutions
- Monthly credit card report
- Communicating with Operations team and customer care call centre
