Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a Business Unit Head to direct and control their business operations. A Business Unit Head is responsible for giving strategic guidance and direction for the company to achieve its financial vision, mission and long-term goals. The Business Unit Head reports, directly to the Cluster Head.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business development including research and implement new initiatives to drive revenue, lower operating costs while maintain quality products that are competitive, all while delivery excellent customer support.
  • Keep all relevant stakeholders informed of developments with company’s objectives.
  • Ensure employees move in the same strategic direction to achieve its mission.
  • Remain close to all stakeholders including the cluster heads, employees, clients, key-decision makers and external service suppliers.
  • Manage resources, including the attracting, hiring and retention of talent.
  • Manage and report on the effective implementation of a marketing strategy to maintain market relevance and promote products and services to increase sales within area of responsibility
  • Manage key personnel, clients and service providers.
  • Oversee and develop a team of multi-skilled individuals setting clear expectations, empowering and mentoring employees, fostering a positive work environment, ensuring continuous improvement, and aligning performance with business goals and leadership values.
  • Participate in budgeting, align individual targets with national objectives, monitor project progress within budget and timelines, and ensure effective management of all associated budgets.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Engineering Degree or B.Tech, Professionally qualified, and Post Grad management courses.
  • Preferred- BSc. Engineering Degree and Professionally Registered Engineer, Post Grad management courses 
  • Function related experience: 5 years’
  • Leading teams: 10 years’
  • Project experience: 15 years’
  • Other experience: 15  years’ in Energy and Power Management industry
  • Established business management track-record and experience in a complex business/commercial environment.
  • Proven ability to develop business strategy and objectives
  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity
  • Excellent judgement and analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
