Business Intelligence Developer/ Data Engineer

Join an IT Solutions team at a leading short-term insurance administration company. We are looking for a BI Developer/ Data Engineer to design and implement business intelligence solutions that drive operational efficiency and strategic decision-making. Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyse business requirements to develop effective BI solutions
• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end BI solutions
• Integrate and consolidate data from multiple sources to create a single source of truth
• Develop relational and dimensional data models
• Analyse and interpret data to generate actionable insights and improve business processes
• Create interactive reports and dashboards for business performance tracking
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members

Qualifications and experience:

• BSc in information systems or a related field
• Five-plus years as a BI analyst developer
• Technical Skills:
• Advanced SQL skills
• Proficiency in Power BI or Qlik
• Proven track record of delivering BI projects
• Preferred Skills; MS SQL Server, SSIS, Snowflake, Talend, Power BI, Qlik
